TANESTRA

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Specialised ENT technologies for Saudi clinical practice.

Tanestra represents international ENT manufacturers in the Kingdom, and supports clinics, hospitals and physicians in selecting, installing and maintaining specialised equipment.

Field
Ear, nose and throat, with the audiology and endoscopy that serve it. One clinical field.
Role
Authorised representation and distribution for a small number of manufacturers.
After installation
Maintenance, calibration, spare parts and user training, under contract.

One clinical field

We do not carry a general medical catalogue. Every line we represent belongs to ENT practice.

Regulatory pathway

Device authorisation and import documentation prepared with the manufacturer, not left to them.

Service, not supply

Preventive maintenance, calibration, spare parts and consumables on a schedule.

Two languages

Clinical and biomedical training delivered in Arabic and English.

01Specialisation

ENT is not a sub-category of general medical supply.

An ENT department buys optics, acoustics, airflow and microsurgery: four unrelated engineering disciplines that happen to share one clinical specialty. A general supplier carries one example of each and understands none of them in depth.

Tanestra carries only this field. That narrowness is the point: it is what makes a demonstration useful, a tender specification accurate, and a service visit short.

The clinical window The name carries it. TAN from تنفّس, breathing, the airway. ESTRA from the Latin fenestra, the window: the view an endoscope opens into the body, and the fenestra ovalis of the middle ear through which all hearing passes.

02Technologies

Five equipment domains, one specialty.

Diagnostic, endoscopic, audiologic and surgical technologies, plus the clinic infrastructure that carries them.

ENT diagnostics

Examination and documentation for the outpatient ENT clinic.

  • Examination units
  • Headlights and loupes
  • Otoscopy and rhinoscopy
  • Image documentation

Endoscopy systems

Rigid and flexible visualisation, from the optic to the reprocessing cycle.

  • Rigid endoscopes
  • Flexible videoscopes
  • Cameras and light sources
  • Reprocessing

Audiology and hearing diagnostics

Threshold, middle-ear and objective testing, and the rooms they require.

  • Audiometers
  • Tympanometry
  • OAE and ABR
  • Sound-treated booths

Surgical ENT

Microsurgery of the ear, nose and airway, instrument to console.

  • Microsurgical instruments
  • Operating microscopes
  • Powered instrumentation
  • Surgical navigation

Clinic equipment

The fixed infrastructure an ENT room is built around.

  • Treatment units
  • Suction and irrigation
  • Sterilisation
  • Clinic furniture

03How we work

Four stages, and the last one never ends.

01

Clinical assessment

We start in the department, with the case mix and the room, not with a catalogue.

02

Selection and demonstration

A shortlist against the clinical requirement, then a demonstration on site with the manufacturer's application specialist.

03

Regulatory and procurement

Device authorisation, import documentation, tender specifications and quotations prepared to the institution's own format.

04

Installation, training, service

Commissioning and acceptance testing, user training in Arabic and English, then a maintenance and calibration schedule.

04For international manufacturers

A route into the Kingdom that does not end at the first order.

Saudi Arabia is expanding ENT capacity faster than it is building the channels to equip it. Entering the market requires device authorisation, an importer of record, clinical introductions, presence in tenders, and after-sales infrastructure that survives the warranty period.

Tanestra provides that structure for a small number of manufacturers, inside one clinical field. We would rather represent four lines properly than forty nominally.

  • Market access and device authorisation
  • Distribution and authorised representation
  • Clinical introduction and specialist engagement
  • Presence in hospital and government tenders
  • Installation, training and service infrastructure

05Who we serve

The people who actually use the equipment.

01

Hospital ENT departments

02

Private ENT clinics

03

Audiology and hearing centres

04

Medical groups and polyclinics

05

Day-surgery centres

06

Academic and training centres

06Service

What happens after the invoice.

Equipment that cannot be serviced in the Kingdom is equipment that stops working in the Kingdom. Every line we represent is supported from here: preventive maintenance and calibration on a schedule, spare parts and consumables held locally, loan units during repair, and refresher training when the department's staff change.

Tell us what the department needs.

Send the case mix, the room, and the constraint. A specification is a better first conversation than a price list.
